We Need Your Help

The C.A.G. Association of Parents has a daunting task ahead as we trust the Lord
to provide a new Director for C.A.G. Our school is facing many challenges and
the departure of Joe Rosa leaves a void that needs to be filled as soon as
possible. The Search Committee has been working on this challenge and does
sense the feeling of urgency that many of you are feeling. This does not mean
that we will simply take the first person that is available. We are
prayerfully proceeding trusting God to use our efforts to recognize the right
person for this role.

The Search Committee has placed advertisements in the websites that are
commonly used by Christian educators looking for this type of position. We
are also following up on two suggestions that have come from the membership to
the Search Committee. We have also developed a Director specific application
along with a process to respond to applicants. The job description and
application are downloadable through our website and will be available Monday.
We are looking at other venues to advertise and even more importantly we want
to get the word out through the personal contacts of our members.

This is where ALL of you enter the picture. Attached to this email is a one
page description of the position. The intention of this document is to make
the first contact with potential candidates. We need each of you to network
and see if there are any potential candidates within your realm of contacts.
Please feel free to send them this one page overview which has the contact
information for Luis Rosales who is our official line of communication. We
are confident that with your help we will greatly increase our potential
candidate pool.

We also would like to remind you about the open meeting with the Board of
Directors on Tuesday the 26th at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel. At this meeting
we will be providing a more detailed update about the process and our progress
to this point. We also will have an open question and answer time so that we
can answer more clearly your concerns. Please make every effort to attend
this meeting.

Also, please make this a daily petition of prayer. As Christians we have
confidence in God’s planning and timing. Our hope is that this will be a time
when the CAG membership can bond together and grow in faith as we trust the
Lord to provide a Director to lead our school.
