A.P. Courses, Dual Enrollment, & Testing

Picture
Many students today desire to get a head start on their College career. One excellent way to accomplish this is by enrolling in online A.P. level courses. A parent resource for understanding A.P. by the College Board, click here to read more.

C.A.G. is excited to offer in person and online A.P. level courses through two online companies: Sevenstar Academy and NorthStar Academy.

CAG students who choose to take an A.P. course either in person or online will be required to take the A.P. exam in May of that academic year. Freshmen are not permitted to take A.P. courses. Sophomore students are only permitted to take A.P. Spanish if recommended by the head of the Spanish department. Juniors are permitted to take a maximum of two online A.P. courses. It is recommended that seniors take no more than two online A.P. courses, but are permitted to take up to four if previous A.P. course experience and teacher recommendation support this decision.

The Secondary Principal and A.P. Coordinator will monitor all A.P. online coursework. The student is required to reach quarterly goals. A.P. Tests are the first two weeks in May each year. Read more about A.P. Here

A.P. and SAT Exams / College Testing

CAG is a Test Center for A.P. and Digital SAT Exams. It is important for our community to be able to test right here on our campus.

Sophomores take the PSAT, while Juniors and Seniors are encouraged to take the SAT, Spring and Fall, respectively for college entrance.
