General Admissions GuidelinesC.A.G was established to provide an English speaking education for children of missionaries serving in Guatemala. The establish bylaws maintain this priority towards missionary children and therefore the student body must consist of two-thirds missionary children.
C.A.G. is not recognized by the Minister of Education of Guatemala. C.A.G. is an Asociación de Padres de Familia Misioneros Cristianos. Therefore credits and diplomas earned at the C.A.G. are NOT transferable to schools or universities here in Guatemala. All applicants are required to pass the English placement test and meet grade level academic standards prior to acceptance. C.A.G. does not offer scholarships, however, missionary families receive a tuition discount. C.A.G. follows a U.S. college-preparatory curriculum and school year - beginning in August and ending in May. Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered according to the needs of the students through Sevenstar Online Academy for additional cost. Honors courses are also offered in English.
