Clubs & Activities
Here at C.A.G. we strive to provide the most rich and full experience to each and every student. Outside academics we look for various ways to engage students and bring out the best in each of them. Giving them opportunities to plug in and success is a critical part of that experience.
HACIA - Debating
HACIA Democracy is a debate class that teaches students how to debate in a reasonable and objective way. Students debate about the current social and political issues and find real life solutions through the debates.
Every year, the class attends the HACIA Democracy event which takes place in Latin America.
For more information about HACIA, please see their website.
Each year the students of C.A.G. have an opportunity to run for a position on their own student council. The job of the student council is to listen to their constituents and be their voice to the administration of the school. This responsibility is open to all secondary students at C.A.G.
Each year the electable positions are: Student Body President, Student Body Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Spiritual Coordinator.
Each year the Senior class opens the school tienda (store) and provides a myriad of snacks and lunches. This provides and excellent opportunity to learn responsibility and business sense in a controlled and safe environment. Near the end of the school year the tienda is "handed over" to the Junior class and they finish out the year. They then open the tienda the follow year.
