Spiritual Growth

Students will: 

• understand the Bible as the Word of God and use it as a guide for daily living
• accept the basic tenets of the Christian faith
• develop  a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, honoring Him as Lord and Savior, seeking to know and do the will of God
• develop a pattern of life based on the standards set forth in the Bible 
• demonstrate the formation of a personal Christian philosophy which will permeate every area of their lives

Chapel and Discipleship Groups exist for the purpose of glorifying God by communicating the grand story of deliverance that God accomplished for his people through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Simply speaking, the purpose of chapel is to proclaim the message that Jesus saves sinners. 

Our vision for chapel is for students to deeply know God through His Gospel, through our identity in Him, and through community with other believers. Chapel is purposed to impart biblical knowledge, context, and content relating to the Gospel, the Christian, and the church; to cultivate affection and desire for Jesus Christ; and to provide practical direction and response.

Chapel engages our head, heart, and hands by explicitly explaining the work and words of Jesus Christ.
